Baker Tom’s Bread – Sales Manager

Location: London M4 corridor / Bristol / Bath area (UK travel required; occasional HQ visits in West Cornwall)

Salary: £30k – £45k OTE + company car

Reporting to: CEO

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Baker Tom’s Bread is seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Manager to lead our growth across the Bristol and Bath region. You will own the development and execution of a clear regional sales strategy, driving performance, expanding market presence, and supporting our longer-term UK expansion plans.

Your role will focus on:

  • Building strong, lasting relationships with premium restaurant chains, burger outlets, and wholesalers.
  • Creating a strategic, scalable sales approach to enable sustainable growth.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product, and Retail.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience:

  • Senior sales leadership experience in FMCG, food & drink, or a closely aligned category with similar routes to market.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing UK sales strategies, including segmentation, channel priorities, pricing/margin management, and growth planning.
  • Strong knowledge of UK routes to market, including wholesale, distributors, and buying groups.
  • Experience creating regional and national sales approaches, including territory strategy, account prioritisation, field activity standards, and measurable outcomes.

Baker Tom’s Bread – Bakery Assistant (Trainee)

Location: Bakery Pool near Redruth

Pay: Subject to experience


Reporting to: Head Baker / Production Manager

Job Type: This is a fixed term contract for 6 months but could be extended for the right candidates.

This is a full time positions.

What you’ll do

  • Take care of daily bread preparation and duties assigned by the bakers and head baker.  
  • Scaling and assisting with the roll plant – ensuring quality and food safety is always adhered to.
  • Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
  • Glazing and displaying finished products.
  • Be a hands-on part of the bakery production team
  • Helping to ensure a safe environment and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures
  • Reporting for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and any applicable protective clothing and adhering to specified grooming standards
  • Ensure that the highest standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness of attire are always maintained, and that working surfaces, utensils and equipment are kept clean and in working order

  • Flexible attitude to working hours and variable shift patterns (between 6:00am – 19:00 pm
