Retail Assistant Manager
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Retail Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. You will play a key role in leading the team, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail.Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock management, including ordering and replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Train new employees on company standards, sales techniques, and customer service practices.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
- Prepare reports on sales performance and assist in developing strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Proficient in sales management techniques with a focus on achieving results.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail for managing paperwork and reports.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service best practices.
- A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering an outstanding shopping experience.
- Clean drivers licence.
