  • In the final minute, place cheese on top and allow to melt.

2. Warm the pulled pork

  • Add a spoon of BBQ sauce if you like it extra sticky and rich.

3. Toast the buns

  • Lightly toast the cut sides of the burger buns until warm and golden.

  • Base bun → beef patty with melted cheese → warm pulled pork → shredded iceberg → slices of beefsteak tomato → sauce (optional) → top bun.

👨🍳 Baker’s Tips

  • Extra juicy: Brush patties lightly with butter while resting.

  • More smoke: Add smoked cheese or a spoon of smoky BBQ sauce into the pulled pork.

  • Texture boost: Crispy onions or pickles add great crunch and contrast.

  • Make ahead: Pulled pork can be prepared in advance and reheated gently before serving.

A proper stacked favourite — rich, meaty and satisfying, perfect for weekend menus, specials boards or a serious burger night.
